ABOUT IPC

The Conference

For the last 14 years, MOSAIC has been organizing the annual Immigrant Professionals Conference (IPC) and has been receiving consistent positive reviews and feedback.

Each year the event provides 250+ immigrant professionals with the opportunity to further their professional development via presentations by inspiring speakers, active participation in plenary, breakout sessions and panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

IPC’s objective is to provide guidance, encouragement and inspiration to newcomer professionals who will benefit from their exposure and connection to experts and leaders in their respective fields. Learning the trends in the current labour market and applying the strategies and skills in their own personal career advancement would be a meaningful take away from this event.

“Immigrants form over 20 percent of Canada’s workforce and are a large pool of skilled workers. Most immigrants are highly educated, speak more than one language and can link business to customers in Canada’s ethnic communities and abroad.” – WorkBC

Delegates

IPC attracts participants from all over the world and focuses on those who are already in Canada. Regardless of their geographical location, the IPC provides delegates with the opportunity to further their professional development via a variety of experiences; guided and encouraged every step of the way by motivational speakers, skilled facilitators and lead employers, and subject matter experts from educational institutions and professional associations.

Past delegates reported that IPC had a positive impact on their professional development. As a result of participating in the conference, they felt better prepared to advance their careers in Canada.
