Aoibheann is the Director of Manufacturing at Arc'teryx. Arc'teryx is a technical apparel manufacturing company based in BC, providing gear servicing the outdoor industry that is built to last.
I am privileged to work in our local factory as the director, overseeing all of our locally made products including our icon model the Alpha SV. I grew up working in a small apparel factory in Ireland, owned by my mum. After spending years working there throughout my school and college life, I graduated with a masters in Chemical Engineering in 2013. I spent just over 6 years in multiple engineering and leadership functions within the semi-conductor industry before navigating my way back to the apparel world. Since graduating I have just over 10 years of experience working in manufacturing. This does not include the 6 years I spent working for my mum, starting my exposure to manufacturing and supply chain earlier than most.
